I recently picked up a Vivosun VGrow and was having some very serious issues with the temperature and humidity sensor that the box comes with. After doing a TON of research I picked up the Pulse Zero and I’m so, so glad I did! The VGrow’s sensor is far too sensitive to the lights hitting it, meaning that every time the lights cycle on or off it thinks the temperature has dropped or raised a LOT in an extremely short amount of time. This throws the box into chaos as it attempts to deal with these crazy temperature swings, which aren’t actually happening. Yes, the temperature does change when the lights cycle, but it’s a very gradual shift, taking roughly 30 minutes. I know this now thanks to the Pulse Zero. Because it showed me that the climate change in the box was far slower and less extreme than what the VGrow shows. What this means is that, twice a day, I have to check the Pulse settings and then adjust the settings in the VGrow to stop the cascading effect of the sensor telling the box’s Ai that it needs to make a bunch of adjustments to deal with what the internal sensor is saying. This is a headache to deal with every day, but at least I know what the actual climate readings are in the box now. It would be great if Pulse and Vivosun could make it so we could integrate the Pulse sensor line into the VGrow box to get truly accurate and reliable climate data.
