This kit includes:

  • 1x Hub Base
  • 1x OpenSprinkler 3.0 AC Powered (You will need a solenoid valve & diaphragm pump to get this running.)
  • 1x VWC-1 Probe: Acclima TDR-310W Volumetric Water Content (Soil Moisture, Temp, and EC)
  • 1x Backbone Extension Cable (6ft/2m)

  • 1x 3-way T Connector

     

Important Open Sprinkler Info

  • You will need a diaphragm/demand pump & 24V AC irrigation valve to complete the setup.
  • The included 24VAC/500mA transformer is NOT suitable to run more than 2 valves at the same time (i.e. concurrent/simultaneous zones). If you need to run more valves at the same time, please find a transformer with larger current rating.

Sent us the wrong power adapter, device is toast and nearly caused a fire

To be fair it was only on open sprinkler, but we did not notice that out of 3 devices only one had the wrong power adapter for our country. When plugged obviously it nearly caused us a fire in our property. I expect a kind of compensation going forward.

Swapped to Pulse, amazing decision

Got the hub, 2 TDR soil sensors, the environmental sensor, and pH/EC sensors for the reservoir. Also the OpenSprinkler (havent had a chance to play with this yet). Everything has been flawless so far, sensors hold calibration, the app has a good UI and has not crashed once or had errors. Setup was a breeze and at 1/3-1/2 the cost of some other systems, (with significantly less wires as well!) the value is great. I am using it for one zone atm but hope to expand and hope to see additional functions built in like light controls!
